Just Right Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling owner, Dan Dearden, was a guest on Studio 5 with Brooke Walker. Studio 5 is a lifestyle show on local station KSL-TV. The show focuses on Women’s issues, lead by host Brooke Walker. She is also a member of the award winning KSL News Team. A homegrown Utah girl, Brooke loves finding inspiration from other people’s life experiences and enjoys sharing those stories with viewers.
Dan’s segment on the show focused on the benefits of annual maintenance for your furnace. One of Dan’s insights was that in a cold climate like Utah a typical furnace runs for 2300 hours. If that were a car going 45 miles per hour, that would equate to more than 100, 000 miles a year! We would never think of driving our car that many miles without a tune-up, yet many of us ignore our furnace until it breaks down or can’t keep up on a cold winter day.
