Air Conditioning Install

geothermal.

You spent thousands on your new heating and cooling equipment. Let’s install it correctly, so it does the job right.

We’re sad to say we’ve gone to many Utah homes where the original installers did not do their job right. The equipment starts rattling right away or is the wrong choice for the size of the property. The homeowners are understandably frustrated.

At Just Right Heating & Cooling, we go the extra mile to ensure your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system performs at the level you expect. Every system we install passes a rigorous inspection upon completion. Quality craftsmanship means a lot to us.

Air Conditioning Installation and Replacement in Salt Lake City

Here are six factors that will determine how much you pay for a new air conditioner (AC):

  1. Size:

The square footage and layout of your home determine the size of your HVAC system. Air conditioner strength is measured in “tons,” a measurement that refers to the amount of heat your AC can remove in an hour. A larger home requires more tonnage.

  2. Ratings:

The term SEER stands for seasonal energy efficiency ratio. It measures how much energy your air conditioner uses to operate. Just like buying a car that gets good gas mileage (MPG) makes sense, selecting a high-efficiency AC makes good sense.

  3. Brand:

We specialize in Trane products—America’s most trusted brand when it comes to cooling down your home or business. Trane products are built to withstand the harshest conditioners.

  4. Ductwork:

If you must add or renovate substantial ductwork to achieve maximum comfort or system efficiency, your system installation cost could rapidly rise. Be sure to ask about our ductless systems that allow you to remodel areas such as your basement or attic without having to extend ductwork.

  5. Labor:

With any major project, we always recommend you receive at least three quotes from local, reputable, certified HVAC companies. We’re confident you will choose to do business with Just Right Heating & Cooling. We believe in our team, our products, and our pricing.

What Can I Do for Greater Energy Efficiency?

Air conditioning systems are classified as single-stage, two-stage, or variable speed. Each stage refers to the compressor’s mode of operation:

  • Single-stage systems operate at one speed. These systems are either on or off.
  • Two-stage systems have a compressor that functions at both high and low speeds. The compressor can operate at the lower level during average outdoor temperatures and then at the higher level when it’s warmer outside. Two-stage air conditioners are more efficient than one-stage.
  • Variable-speed air conditioners are the most energy efficient of all. The compressor can operate at multiple levels, ranging from lower capacity to full capacity and anything in between. With variable speeds, the system can run longer at lower speeds, controlling your humidity and indoor air quality (IAQ).
