Dan Dearden, Our Founder

As the founder of Just Right Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling and having worked in the industry for over 30 years, Dan Dearden brings an unparalleled level of experience, knowledge, and commitment to every project. His credentials speak volumes about his expertise.
Dan graduated from Utah Valley University’s HVAC/R Program and started out as a technician in 1977. Today, he holds these certifications and titles:
- North American Technician Excellence (NATE)
- NATE Senior Efficiency Analyst
- NATE National Technician Competition Champion
- Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES)
- Air Balance
- Combustion Analysis
- National Comfort Institute (NCI)
Dan shares his passion for HVAC with his family. His two sons now work in HVAC, and Dan’s brother, Tom, has made a name for himself in the industry as well.
Dan is not only an expert—he is also an educator. His impact is felt through his accomplishments in the HVAC industry and the lives he touches in the community. Dan takes pride in mentoring emerging HVAC professionals at Friendly University, a comprehensive 12-week HVAC program that is helping to create future leaders in the industry.
Service and Compassion Beyond HVAC
A lifetime resident of the Salt Lake area, Dan adores his family and cares deeply for his community. He has dedicated over 10 years to helping Habitat for Humanity and has actively participated in many other charitable programs.
